This website, www.karma-ceuticals.co.uk, is operated by Karmaceuticals Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11954476, with its registered address at 12 Maes Morfa, Newport, Pembrokeshire, SA42 0TR ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to every order you place on this website. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them.

2. Who can buy

You must be 18 or over to buy from us. By placing an order you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the products are for your own use or for gifting to another adult.

3. Important product information

Our elixirs are botanical extracts in vegetable glycerine and our SONDER drinks are alcohol-free canned cocktails. Please read the following before use:

• Not a medicine. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on this website is medical advice. Information on this site, including our quiz, is for general guidance only.
• Health conditions and medication. Herbs contain active plant compounds that can interact with medicines and supplements. If you have a long-term health condition, take any medication or supplements, or are due to have surgery, speak to your doctor, pharmacist or a qualified medical herbalist before use.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding. With the exception of our SONDER G&T, our elixirs and drinks containing them are not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Allergies. Always check the ingredients list on the label before use. Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to any ingredient.
• Dosage. Do not exceed the recommended dose of 2.5ml–5ml at a time. Check in with yourself before taking more. Keep out of reach of children.
• Individual effects vary. People respond to botanicals differently. Descriptions of how our products may make you feel reflect our formulation intentions and customer experience, and are not a guarantee of any particular effect.
• Alcohol. Our products are alcohol-free but are designed to be enjoyed with or without alcohol. If you choose to drink alcohol, please do so responsibly. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel any effect that may impair you.
• Storage. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use elixirs within 6 months.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract between us is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, a price is wrong, or we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. If we discover a pricing error before your order is dispatched, we will contact you and you may cancel. Payment is taken when you place your order.

6. Delivery

Delivery options, charges and estimated times are set out in our Shipping & Returns page. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but will keep you informed and you may cancel and receive a refund if a delay is significant.

7. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive your products. To cancel, email us at karma@karma-ceuticals.co.uk with your order number. You must then return the products within 14 days of telling us, unopened and with seals intact, at your own cost unless the products are faulty.

For health and hygiene reasons, the right to cancel does not apply to elixirs or drinks that have been unsealed after delivery.

We will refund the price of the products and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the returned products (or proof of return).

8. Faulty or incorrect products

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. If a product is faulty, damaged in transit, not as described or not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will replace it or refund you in full, including return postage.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any business losses. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Because botanical products can affect people differently, you are responsible for reading the product information in section 3 and the label, and for following the recommended dose. We are not liable for adverse effects arising from use contrary to that guidance, but this does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty.

10. Website content

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and the Karmaceuticals and SONDER names, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. We may update the site and these terms from time to time; the version in force when you order applies to that order.

11. Bar hire, corporate packages and festival crew

Bar hire, corporate wellness packages and festival crew engagements are agreed separately in writing, and those written terms (including any deposit arrangements) apply in addition to these terms.

12. Privacy

We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints and governing law

If you have a complaint, please email karma@karma-ceuticals.co.uk and we will respond within 14 days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
